Have you ever felt like the thing you’ve been praying for is never going to happen? Like no matter how long you wait, it seems out of reach?
Sarah knew that feeling. She waited years for God’s promise of a child, and when she was told it would happen—even in her old age—she laughed in disbelief. But God had bigger plans.
In Genesis 17, God changed her name from Sarai to Sarah, which means “princess” in Hebrew. This wasn’t just a name change—it was a reminder of who she was in His eyes: royalty, chosen, and worthy of the promise He made to her. And just like Sarah, we too are princesses of the King of the World, worthy of that title and the crown He’s placed on us.
Maybe you’re in a season of waiting right now, feeling like nothing is moving forward. But when Sarah doubted, God asked, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Genesis 18:14).
That question still rings true today.
Nothing—no struggle, no waiting period—is too hard for Him. God’s timing is perfect, even when we can’t see it. He’s working in ways we don’t always understand, but He hasn’t forgotten you. His promises are still true—He is good, faithful, and kind. It doesn’t mean we will always get the desires of our heart, but it means that His grace, love, and plans will always prevail.
So when doubt creeps in and you find yourself laughing at God’s promises, ask yourself, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
He sees you, loves you, and calls you His own.
Your crown isn’t just a promise—it’s proof of God’s power and purpose for your life.
